We’ve been making difficult things easier since 1989.
This is usually the part where we bowl you over with our stunning mugshots and throw in some phrases, like “Market Leaders” and “Best in Class”.
But we’re more of a ‘walk the walk’ kind of energy, so we’ll yield some insight and leave you to decide who leads what.
Mark 3 International started in London more than 35 years ago.
International trade looked very different then. Paperwork was heavier. Technology was lighter. Nobody was tracking a parcel from their sofa and wondering why it hadn’t moved for three hours.
But the job was fundamentally the same.
Get something from here to there. Get the complicated bits right. And sort it out when things don’t go to plan.
That’s what we’ve been doing ever since.
Today, Mark 3 International works with postal operators, logistics businesses, couriers, e-commerce retailers and platforms around the world. We combine international logistics, customs expertise and technology to solve the problems that sit behind cross-border trade.
Some are straightforward.
The ones that aren’t tend to be where we’re most useful.
We say yes a lot.
Give us something difficult and our first instinct isn’t to tell you why it can’t be done.
It’s to start working out how it can.
That might mean adapting an existing process. Bringing different capabilities together. Building something new. Or finding a solution nobody thought they needed until the old way stopped working.
Having operations in London and New York, long-standing customs and logistics expertise, exclusive brokerage relationships and technology we own gives us room to move.
We’re not tied to someone else’s system, someone else’s roadmap or one rigid way of doing things. And neither are you.
Your problem doesn’t need to fit neatly into our box. We’d rather build the right box.
That mindset has shaped Mark 3 from the beginning.
Who We Are (and Aren’t)
“We’ve used Mark 3 since 2018. We won’t be stopping any time soon...”
35+ years gives you a useful perspective.
We’ve worked through changing customs regimes, new markets, new technologies, the explosion of e-commerce and a fairly impressive collection of new acronyms.
And every time international trade changes, businesses have to work out what that change actually means on Monday morning.
That’s where experience counts.
Not because doing something for a long time automatically makes you good at it.
Because after 35+ years, you’ve seen what happens when theory meets reality. You know the questions to ask earlier. You recognise the problems that are about to become bigger problems. And you’re considerably harder to surprise.
Still involved. Still curious.
Mark 3’s founders are still involved in the day-to-day business.
You just won’t see them fighting for the spotlight.
That’s fairly typical of Mark 3.
We’re much more interested in doing good work than talking endlessly about ourselves.
Our leadership team brings together experience across logistics, customs, technology and international operations. But expertise here isn’t something that sits around the boardroom table.
It’s across the business.
People who know the regulations. People who understand the systems. People who know what happens on the ground. And people who can look at something that has been done the same way for ten years and ask:
Why?
Good people make difficult things easier.
That probably sums up our culture better than a wall full of company values ever could.
Know your stuff. Share what you know. Pick up the phone. Take responsibility. Ask questions. Help each other. Don’t create three processes when one will do.
And never hide behind “that’s not my department” when there’s a customer waiting for an answer.
We take international trade seriously.
Ourselves? Slightly less so.
Because behind all the technology, customs terminology, regulations and operational complexity, this is still a people business.
And we want Mark 3 to be the kind of team you’re glad to have on your side when things get complicated.
What hasn’t changed?
A lot, actually.
We’re still independent in how we think. Still close to our customers. Still building. Still solving. Still asking whether there’s a better way.
And we still say yes a lot.
If none of that sent you running for the hills, book a call with one of our experts so that you can see for yourself.
FAQs
Your Questions, Answered
-
Mark 3 provides international linehaul, customs brokerage and clearance, middle-mile logistics, parcel handling, duty calculation and collection, customs data management and specialist logistics solutions.
But you don’t need to arrive knowing exactly which service you need. We work with postal operators, logistics providers, couriers, 5PLs, e-commerce businesses and platforms to understand the requirement first, then bring together the right physical, customs and technology capabilities to solve it.
You bring us the ‘what’. We’ll work out the ‘how’.
-
Yes. Mark 3 supports US customs clearance, customs brokerage, duty calculation and duty collection, backed by exclusive brokerage expertise in the USA and technology shaped by real customs operations.
We can support individual parts of the customs process or connect clearance with the wider international journey, including linehaul, data management, middle mile and onward delivery networks.
-
Absolutely. In fact, some of our best work starts with a requirement that doesn’t fit neatly onto a logistics services list.
Rather than asking you to squeeze your operation into a fixed network or standard product, our teams look at what you’re trying to achieve and build around it – combining physical logistics, customs expertise, data and our own technology where required.
-
Yes – and the combination is important.
Mark 3 is a tech-enabled international logistics business, not a software company looking at logistics from the outside. Our technology is shaped by the customs, parcel and logistics operations our teams work with every day.
Our capabilities include HTS classification, duty calculation and collection, customs data management, CDS integrations, plugins and Ziggi, our core operating system.

Mark 3 works behind postal operators, logistics companies, couriers, 5PLs, e-commerce retailers and platforms, supporting businesses that need additional international logistics, customs or technology capability.
That might mean solving one very specific customs or logistics requirement. Or it might mean bringing multiple Mark 3 capabilities together to build a more connected international operation.
